Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco congratulates Saints quarterback Drew Brees following the team's second round playoff win over Philadelphia in the Louisiana Superdome. The historic victory brought the team to the NFC Championship for the first time in history. Hundreds of WHO DAT! fans welcomed Louisiana's team home in the early hours of a rainy morning following the Saints' final game in Chicago. Each member of the Saints organization received official statements of appreciation from Gov. Blanco on behalf of the people of Louisiana. The Governor will deliver more than 1,000 personal messages from Saints fans to the team collected through "Thank the Saints", an online initiative she created.
