Education, Governor's Office
Mission
The Office of Education serves as the primary point of contact within the Governor's Office for all issues related to pre-K - 12 education. Our primary roles include advising Governor Blanco on key education policy issues, and working closely with the Superintendent of Education, the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, the Department of Education, legislators, and other state and local policymakers in the development and implementation of significant education reform initiatives.
