Proclamation Text Guidelines:

The person making the proclamation request is responsible for submitting the language or text for drafting purposes.

Any draft language submitted may be edited or rewritten at the discretion of the Governor's office.

Text must be in "Whereas, Therefore" format Click for a sample Proclamation.

Proclamations are issued for one date only.  For example if "Crime Watch Day" is proclaimed on January 1, then "Crime Watch Week" or "Crime Watch Month" will not be proclaimed later in the year.

Requests that are similar to already issued proclamations will be declined.
