Governor Blanco, Commissioner Donelon tell Louisiana's story to insurance executives andurge them to help drive down insurance costs
LA QUINTA, Calif. - Determined to bring affordable insurance home to Louisiana citizens, Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco today rolled out the state's welcome mat to highest levels of the insurance industry in the hopes of attracting more companies to write policies in the state. The Governor concluded her three-day insurance outreach mission in California by sharing Louisiana's story of reducing exposure to risk with members of the Property and Casualty Insurers of America (PSCI) Board of Governors.

Governor's Weekly Radio Address 1.26.07

Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco congratulates Saints quarterback Drew Brees following the team's second round playoff win over Philadelphia in the Louisiana Superdome. The historic victory brought the team to the NFC Championship for the first time in history. Hundreds of WHO DAT! fans welcomed Louisiana's team home in the early hours of a rainy morning following the Saints' final game in Chicago. Each member of the Saints organization received official statements of appreciation from Gov. Blanco on behalf of the people of Louisiana. The Governor will deliver more than 1,000 personal messages from Saints fans to the team collected through "Thank the Saints", an online initiative she created.
